DARK ROAST - DUKES DARK

This is a SINGLE ORIGIN coffee. 

Duke's Dark derives it name from Duke's garage right here in Russell - the very first customer of Chin Chin Coffee.  The owner, Frank, would tell us "Darker! Stronger!" when we were doing sample roasts.  We FINALLY got him to sign off on Duke's Dark and viola!  Duke was Frank's long standing canine partner - a bull dog - and a real sweetheart too.  Duke is no longer with us but his name lives on in our coffee.  

We use our new, top notch Nicaragua coffee purchased directly from the farmer. Sustainably grown at high elevation and in shade, hand picked all the while paying their staff a fair wage  - this is FANTACTIC coffee and we can't wait for you to try it.   A zero-bitterness finish, strong and flavorful.   and very well balanced. 

FLAVOUR: Definite deep chocolate tones with a caramel base, strong yet balanced, clean finish and no bitterness

PROCESS: Washed and patio dried.
